4 Essential Pages For A Nutritionist Or Health Coach Website

If you're running a business and haven't created a simple website yet with 4 key pages all coach websites need, then you're missing out big time!

Creating a simple website should be your top priority, and the good news is that it doesn't have to be complicated or fancy for coaching businesses to start making money and gaining new potential clients.

Web design may not be your thing. That’s totally ok. Website builders can handle all the complicated stuff. But, you? You can can do the easy stuff like making a page – especially if it’s a simple page. Ultimately, a simple website design is the way to go.

Before you start getting too creative, let's make sure you've got the basic pages you need to attract and convert your dream clients through an easy-to-understand user experience.

All Nutritionist or Health Coach websites should have at least four web pages: a Contact Page or Work With Me Page, Privacy + Terms Page, About Page, and a Homepage.

 

The Contact Page

Now, the Contact Page is super important, so make sure people can easily find your email address or know how to reach you through social media. Repetition is key, so make sure to link it in several places and optimize it for mobile devices too.

Pro tip: Test out every page on your website from your phone to make sure it doesn’t look funky or is unusable on mobile.

 

The Privacy + Terms Page

So boring, but it's a good cover-your-butt practice to have these pages. Make sure they are linked in your footer navigation...no need for them to be front and center on the main navigation bar.

Many website templates (like the one I use and recommend HERE) include Privacy and Terms + Conditions pages that are generic-but-editable, or you can also have an attorney draft them for you.

Pro Tip: Some people (not naming any names) might borrow inspiration from some other websites in the same niche and call it good.

 

The About Page

Your About Page is also crucial and should be linked in your main navigation menu. Don't make the mistake of skipping this page just because you think it's silly to explain who you are and why you're amazing. You want strangers from the internet to get to know you, and your About Page is the perfect place to build trust and do just that! But remember, it's not just about you - it's about your dream client too. Infuse your personality and core values into the messaging and make it a page they'll remember.

 

The Homepage

Finally, it's time to get strategic with your Homepage. This is where you'll communicate your purpose and next best step very clearly to your visitors. Don't forget, the purpose of your website is to make you money, so make it easy for your dreamies to take action and start booking those clients or selling more products.

Whether you make money by booking 1:1 clients, or selling physical products, group programs, or digital products like a membership site or online course, your website is going to be doing the heavy lifting for you.

Make it easy on yourself and your website visitors (aka the fabulous strangers from the internet) by having ONE clear call to action [CTA] on your homepage along with links to your about page and a concise statement about who you are and how you help them.

Again, I have to say that this is the easiest to do using any of the Kajabi website templates because the home pages are already streamlined for conversions right out of the box, but you can replicate the following framework on any website platform you're currently using.

You want to be very conscious of not overwhelming your visitors with too many options.

I repeat: ONLY ONE CALL TO ACTION PER PAGE!

 

Sample Homepage Framework

  • Clear logo + navigation menu at the top of the page with the least amount of menu links possible (About, Work With Me, Contact and Free is really all you need) Remember: This menu will be condensed and not be visible on mobile view, so you want ALL of those important links to also be strategically linked up on the actual Home Page
  • Hero / Header Image of YOU with a concise statement on who you help + how you help them
  • Button / form for Call To Action [CTA] on what you want them to do first (Is this book a call with you? Is it sign up for your email list with your epic freebie? Is it opting in to a video series or free course? Make it SO OBVIOUS by linking to that ONE next step all over this page along with the results they will get.)
  • Optional: Another photo of you with a short and juicy bio that links to your About Page if they want to learn more
  • Questions? Contact Me Here [link to Contact page because it's likely hidden on mobile in the navigation menu]
  • Always end a page (About Me, Homepage, Blog Post, etc) with the ONE Call To Action you want them to take. Don't make your dreamies hunt all over the page to find the buttons...put them all over the place so they get a chance to take the next step at every scroll!
  • Pro Tip: Make sure that CTA gets them on your email list as soon as possible, because that's where the magic happens.
